The Hanging Basket Water Valve (HBWV) is a sprinkler for hanging baskets. It is easy to install and use. Its small size (5"x2 1/2") does not detract from the beauty of the flowers in the basket. The HBWV can be used in an existing sprinkler system and is designed for a continuous supply of low pressure (25psi static & dynamic) water.
Because of the HBWV's design, the plants receive water only when they need it and not as with a timed controller. If the weather is hot and windy, the plants would be watered multiple times per day. If the weather is cool and/or wet, the plants would not be watered as frequently or at all. The design, using a deep watering cycle, maximizes plant growth through the development of healthy roots. Water is conserved since it is provided only when it is needed. After the simple installation and quick adjustment, the HBWV will require only minimal adjustment or attention for months at a time. | |

This kit is simple to install and has been designed with everything you need to connect directly to an outside hose faucet. With a few additional components it can be used in connection with an existing sprinkler system. Minimal assembly is required for maximum efficiency! |

Kit includes: 1 inline filter (150mesh), 1-25psi 'static' pressure regulator, 1 3/4" x 1/2" adapter, 1 pipe to hose fitting, 1 roll of Teflon tape, 50' poly tubing, 3 tubing elbows, 10 tubing straps, 1 tubing plug end, 1 1/4" couplers, 10 1/4" feeder tubing, 1 hole punch. | |

| Wire Attaching Kit |

This kit is also an alternative that makes the installation even easier. The wire is used to attach the HBWV to your basket. Rather than modifying your existing hanger or making a new one, this wire attaching kit is a cost-effective alternative. Each kit includes 4 hangers that are made of 16 gauge galvanized wire with a 180 bend on one end. All you need to do is feed the other end through your basket, bend and twist the ends and when you are done make sure that the basket hangs level. | |

The pressure regulator is sold as part of the 'Complete Faucet Hose Kit' and is also available separately. The regulator is available in 2 models: 3/4" hose thread or 3/4" pipe thread. Our regulator limits water pressure when there is flow (dynamic pressure) and, just as importantly, when there is no flow (static pressure). | | |
